The mission of Werner Perfume is to create fragrances that can appeal to anyone. We see gender as an unnecessary and restrictive way to categorize scents — instead, we distinguish our fragrances through their storied inspirations, which we realize with the texture and depth that befits them. We believe that this approach helps make choosing fragrance as simple as it should be: Do you like it? Then wear it.
Meet the Perfumer
Hi, my name is William. I was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I’ve been working with fragrance for the better part of a decade, motivated by a curiosity about the heights of sense experience.
I say sense experience in general, because my curiosity is not limited to only one of the five. In addition to fueling me as I learned the science and art of perfume — both on my own and from a few pivotal mentors — this curiosity also motivated many years of classical training in vocal performance. Those years have been a foundational influence for my relationships with craft and expression, one that can even be seen in some of my products.
Now, the name Werner Perfume serves to organize the fruits of my curiosity, and my passion. It is my hope that among them, you will find something that sparks yours.
